...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM FRIDAY TO 10 AM
CST SATURDAY...
* WHAT...For the first Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal
flooding less than 1 foot above normally dry ground expected.
For the second Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding
around 1 foot above normally dry ground expected.
* WHERE...In Louisiana, Lower Plaquemines, Lower St. Bernard,
Southeast St. Tammany and Eastern Orleans Parishes. In
Mississippi, Southern Hancock County.
* WHEN...For the first Coastal Flood Advisory, from 10 PM this
evening to 8 AM CST Friday. For the second Coastal Flood
Advisory, from 10 PM Friday to 10 AM CST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
